Meet The Directors

Rene’ and Jane Alvarez founded the Ministry in December 2003.  Jane is a college graduate with twenty-two years experience in corporate America.  She met Rene’ while volunteering at a prison where Rene’ was an inmate serving a ten year sentence with a previous drug addiction.  Rene’, a high school dropout, is an accomplished automobile upholsterer and has owned his own business for thirty years.

Rene’ and Jane both have a heart to serve the least, the last, and the lost.  They have dedicated themselves to helping men who are homeless and /or just released from jail or prison to start their lives over.
